Four Stages For MAXIMUM Contaminant Removal:
This Reverse Osmosis system requires the Kwik-Change filter cartridges to be replaced at a staggered interval as shown below: Stage 1; Stage 2 and Stage 4 filters are replaced every 12 months. The Stage 3 (membrane) cartridge is replaced once every 24 months.
Accordingly, the average annual filter cost for this system is $75.00 per year. Based on consumption of approximately 4 gallons of purified water per day, the cost per gallon is between 5 and 6 cents per gallon.
