Filtrex FX-CYST Carbon Block Filter for “Big Blue” 20” X 4 ˝” Standard Housings. This exceptional filter is the first to use NSF-61 certified GreenCarbon™, which is manufactured using a patented process that significantly reduced harmful Green House Gas Emissions.
The Filtrex FX-CYST is made using high-performance coconut shell GreenCarbon™ having more micro-pores compared to other types of carbon and a unique binder system delivering a product with superior adsorption capacity and kinetic dynamics.
The Filtrex FX-CYST is ideal for a wide range of Point of Entry (POE), Point of Use (POU) and is an excellent choice for whole-house filtration applications. Please note that for whole-house applications it is strongly recommended to use a sediment pre-filter rated at 20 microns nominal to extend the life of the FX-CYST and prevent premature fouling.
