Microline (Clack) S1229RS Reverse Osmosis 50 GPD Membrane. For use in Microline (Clack) Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems such as the TFC 3 Series and TFC 4 Series.
This is the genuine Microline OEM membrane filter, manufactured by Clack Corporation. Not an off-brand “compatible”, this genuine membrane cartridge assures a perfect fit and maximum performance in your Microline or Clack RO system.
The Microline (Clack) S1229RS RO Membrane is also known as the TFC-35. It replaces the T112-35 CLK RO Membrane.
The S1229RS membrane has a capacity of 50 GPD (Gallons Per Day).
The S1229RS is designed to be replaced every 24 months for optimum performance.
Note: Whenever you change the main filters on an RO system, it’s important to sanitize the system, especially the storage tank. The storage tank contains the effluent (treated) water and holds that water until it is drawn to the dispensing faucet through the post filter. Since the RO system removes all of the chlorine or chloramines from the water, the water in the storage tank is not stabilized by a disinfectant and will develop a “bio-film” coating on the inside of the tank. The post-filter will mitigate most of the unpleasant taste from the bio-film, but if left un-sanitized indefinitely, this could pose a problem to the water quality coming from the dispensing faucet. For this reason, we strongly recommend using the Sani-Safe sanitizer each time you change filters.
