Many 20’ carbon block filters are only rated for 6,000 gallons before they are depleted and must be changed. The Eco-Carb filter manufactured by Filtrex Technologies is made using high performance coconut shell greencarbon™ having more micro-pores compared to other types of carbon and a unique binder system delivering a product with superior absorption capacity and kinetic dynamics. As a result, this system will provide in excess of 100,000 gallons of rated filtration performance between filter changes. For a typical household, this means only changing the filters once per year…saving you more time and money!

The Pentek filter housings are manufactured of a durable polypropylene, have excellent chemical resistance and is ideal for residential and commercial applications. The filter manifold head is equipped with a pressure relief button to relieve housing pressure during filter cartridge changes. A housing wrench is included for easy sump removal.
